When we talk about having a balanced diet we tend to think of boring foods. However the art to enjoying what we eat is to have a variety of different foods. Why not make sure they are relatively healthy so that we are not only enjoying our food but also eating healthy meals. Everyone has different taste buds, but that does not stop us from eating well.
One example of a balanced meal would be a chicken curry with rice and a side portion of broccoli. This meal includes carbohydrates from our rice, protein from our chicken along with fibre, vitamin c, k, iron and potassium, all in one of our five a day.

A poor diet has many different effects. This can vary from person to person and has many factors that are involved. Some factors include, age, sex, medical conditions, genes, etc. It can have devastating effects on your health if your diet is lacking in nutrition.
